Meet Trooper, a happy, playful young Lab mix with a heart full of love. This handsome boy has a fun and silly personality — he adores his toys, treats, and a good belly rub! Trooper gets along beautifully with other dogs, cats, kids, and even babies. He’s mild-tempered, affectionate, and eager to please.
Trooper knows how to sit and shake, and he’s such a quick learner that leash training will come easily. He’s not much of a “runner” and will bark only if another dog starts it. With his friendly nature and food motivation, he’ll thrive in just about any home — whether that’s a country property or a suburban backyard.
Trooper had a rough start in life, but thanks to a kind-hearted good Samaritan who saved him and his littermates from being abandoned, he’s now healthy, happy, and ready to find his forever family. He’d love a dog friend but would do fine as an only dog too if someone was around more than not and as long as he gets plenty of love and attention! Like all puppies, he will need continued obedience training to be a well adjusted canine family member.
