Ruby is a lovable, energetic girl who enjoys being part of the family. She’s wonderful with both adults and children and is fully potty trained. At night she sleeps either in her crate or on her dog bed by your side, happy just to be close.
She loves her daily walks and walks nicely on leash without pulling. Ruby knows basic commands like sit, stay, and leave it, and she’s eager to keep learning. She’s just starting to figure out how fun playing ball can be! She has a playful, active personality and will thrive with a confident owner who can provide structure and leadership.
Ruby needs to be the only pet in the home — no other dogs or cats — so she can feel secure, relaxed and soak up all the love. On walks, she may react to other dogs if they bark at her, so she’ll do best with continued guidance and training in those situations. When left alone for a few hours, she relaxes quietly on the couch or a chair until you return. She’s a strong chewer but sticks to her own toys — a big plus!
