Rose – Yellow Female, 3 years old, 55 lbs

The yellow rose is widely associated with friendship, joy, and cheerfulness. It often denotes warmth and positivity of the sun, making it a top choice for celebrating new beginnings, showing gratitude, or simply brightening your day. All that pretty much sums up our Yellow Rose. She is sweet, dedicated, loyal, and always happy to see her people. Rose is looking ahead to new beginnings with her very own forever family.

The resilience of this golden girl would make Betty White proud. Rose arrived at the shelter in active labor and so severely emaciated that her puppies really had no chance to survive. The defender of dogs along with our many supporters and donors help, stepped up and took Rose in, quickly getting her the vet care she needed and a healthy diet to get her back up to weight. She is now spayed, vaccinated and microchipped.

It has been a joy to watch her bloom into this beautiful, fun loving, slightly quirky girl that she is today. She has become a bit of a stuffie hoarder J. Rose has a very laid-back personality and is happy to chill out with her people, but when called upon, she has plenty of get up and go whether it be a walk, hike, or any other adventure (car rides are her favorite!) She does have a strong prey drive and has been known to chase bunnies, squirrels and the like but has stopped short of catching them. While she does have a good recall, she is likely not cat friendly.

As with most labs, Rose will benefit from an obedience refresher, but she is very good on a leash and well-mannered in the house. If you are looking for that perfect addition to your family, one that will be by your side anytime, day or night, and is up for sharing your adventures, submit your online application for Rose today.
