All too common of a story in this day and age – taken to the shelter when my previous owners were “moving.” But don’t feel sorry for me, I am one of the lucky ones! You see, I was taken in by guardians of four legged furries known to all canines as the defenders of dogs and to humans as the Labrador Retriever Rescue of Fresno and the rest is history! I have a loving foster home while I await finding my forever family to love! And I should add by adopting me you free up a much-needed space to allow the rescue of an overwhelming number of dogs that need saving. That’s rescue times two!
You should know inside this handsome ebony body lies a happy heart of pure gold. I love people of all shapes and sizes – especially ones that throw tennis balls! Like all Labs, I love to swim, walk, and chase a ball. I’ll get you out of the house! Couple that with perfect house manners and stunningly handsome big boy body, you can’t go wrong! Pepper is available for adoption through the Labrador Retriever Rescue of Fresno. He is loving and good with people but prefers to be your only king of the house. He is house-trained and respectful of the home. He loves to play fetch, swim, and go for walks. In return, he is a happy boy who is very loyal to his people and loves to be the four-legged love of their life.
