Meet Pepper – A Sweet and Loyal Companion
🐾 Black Lab Mix • Female • 8 Years Old • 80 lbs
Pepper is a gentle-hearted senior with a spark of playful energy and a whole lot of love to give. She’s happiest when she’s around people and thrives on companionship, cuddles, and a good game of fetch. Bath time? Pool time? She loves it! And when it comes to food, chicken and rice is her absolute favorite—though she’s also a big fan of apples.
This smart girl even helps out around the house—she knows exactly when the gardener arrives and calmly puts herself in the gated area so he can work. She’s food-motivated, takes treats gently, and will happily sit for a snack. Pepper did well in play group with other doggies her size. We do not know about cats.
Pepper still has some pep in her step, but not the overwhelming energy of a puppy. She enjoys toys, tummy rubs, and splashing in water. She does pull on the leash a bit (she’s used to a harness), but with a little patience, guidance and love, she’ll walk right into your heart.
