Mocha – Tan/White Labradoodle, 9 months, 73 lbs.
Meet Mocha ☕🐾
Mocha is a 9-month-old Labradoodle with a big body, a bigger heart, and so much love to give. At 73 pounds, he’s very much a big puppy—still growing into himself and discovering how wonderful life can be.
Mocha loves people and thrives on companionship. He has spent time around a 4-year-old and older children and does great with them, soaking up attention and affection. Cats are unknown, as there are none in his foster home, but with proper introductions he may do just fine.
Mocha’s early life wasn’t what it should have been. After being purchased from a breeder at just 2 months old, he was kept crated 24/7 in a backyard. Because of that, crates are not a happy place for him—but the good news is that Mocha has discovered how much he loves being indoors, free to roam, and close to his people. He blossoms when he’s included as part of the family.
Despite his rough start, Mocha is doing amazing. He is house trained, crate trained (though he strongly prefers free roam), knows sit, and is eager to keep learning. His energy level is about a 6—playful and active, but also happy to settle in once his needs are met.
Thankfully, someone was looking out for Mocha, and he found safety through Labrador Retriever Rescue of Fresno. Now he’s ready for the forever home he’s always deserved.
Mocha is looking for an active, committed family who understands that adopting him is a promise—one that could last 15 years. In return, he’ll offer loyalty, joy, companionship, and a whole lot of love.
If you’re ready to give a deserving dog a safe, happy future, Mocha is ready to give you his whole heart. 💕🐶
