I have to tell you the only thing no one understands is how I ever became a stray in the first place. I am very handsome with my golden hair and they tell me I have the sweetest personality. But I was picked up as a stray and after several weeks when no one found me, the Defenders of Dogs stepped in to make sure I found a perfect forever family!
My idea of a perfect day is spending time with my family. Playing with dogs, playing with kids, getting hugs and kisses, being admired. I am a bit of a kleptomaniac who likes to pick up and carry just about anything not nailed down around – who knows when you might need it? Foster mom is working on teaching me what is mine, the dog toys, and what is hers, the shoes. I am still really a puppy and have so much to learn! I do know a crate and am learning to walk on the leash. And most important, I am learning how wonderful it is to be part of a family! Are you my forever family?
Milo is available for adoption from the Labrador Retriever Rescue of Fresno. As a young dog, Milo requires patience and gentle training and regular exercise to reach his full potential. As a doodle type of a dog, his fur will require regular grooming and brushing. He is good with dogs his size and kids that understand a puppy’s youthful energy. He would be happiest in a home where people are home more often than not. There are no cats at his foster home so it is unknown how he will do with cats.
