Knight – Black Male Labradoodle Mix, 1.5 Years, 60 lbs.
Meet Knight! While he’s not your typical Labrador, we believe this handsome boy is a Labradoodle mix—and he’s certainly not your typical young dog either. At just 1½ years old, Knight has a calm, easygoing personality that makes him a joy to have around.
For weeks, Knight was spotted roaming the streets on his own. Thankfully, a kind Good Samaritan was able to approach him with ease, earn his trust, and bring him to safety. That journey eventually led him to Labrador Retriever Rescue of Fresno.
Knight has been the perfect houseguest in his foster home. He gets along beautifully with the resident dogs, takes life’s ups and downs in stride, and is simply an easy dog to live with. He’s well-mannered, affectionate, and enjoys being part of the family without demanding to be the center of attention.
Life on the streets wasn’t kind to Knight. He arrived with fleas and tick-borne diseases (Anaplasmosis and Ehrlichia) from surviving outdoors, but after receiving the medical care he needed, he is now healthy, happy, and ready for a fresh start.
Knight is wonderful with children, gets along with cats, and is friendly with dogs of all sizes. He truly has the kind of temperament that fits into almost any loving home.
