Gumball – Yellow Male Mix, 7 Months, 40 lbs.

Meet Gumball, a happy-go-lucky sweetheart with a big personality and an even bigger heart! We know it’s an unusual name for a puppy, but when he arrived in rescue with sticky gum-like residue on his head and body, “Gumball” seemed to fit—and it stuck!

Gumball was rescued from Bakersfield and has settled beautifully into his foster home, where he lives with a Shepadoodle companion. He quickly learned to use the doggy door, is making great progress with his house training, loves his toys, is crate-trained, and sleeps quietly through the night.

This handsome boy is doing very well on leash walks and has shown curiosity about cats without any signs of aggression. Gumball loves to play hard and then love even harder. After a fun play session, he’s more than happy to climb into your lap for snuggles, kisses, and some well-earned downtime.

We think Gumball is a very smart young dog who will thrive with regular, consistent training and continued socialization. He is friendly, social, and enjoys meeting both people and other dogs. While we cannot guarantee how he will do with cats, his young age and easygoing nature suggest that a proper introduction to a dog-savvy cat could be successful.

If you’re looking for a fun-loving companion who is equal parts playful and affectionate, Gumball may be the perfect addition to your family.
