Edie and Gertrude – Black Females mix, 11 Weeks Old, 18 lbs each
Edie is the little girl blessed with a bit of extra paint from God. Her shiny black coat features a splash of white on her chest and adorable white back feet. She is super-friendly, always the first to run over for attention, and absolutely loves her treat-filled Kong, which she proudly protects from her sisters.
Gertrude isn’t quite sure what she wants to be when she grows up! Although she arrived jet black, her undercoat is beginning to lighten, especially behind her ears and on the backs of her legs, giving her hints of chocolate coloring. Gert also has tiny white markings on her feet and the most petite, feminine features of the four puppies. She is sweet, gentle, easygoing, and loves attention.
Their Story
These girls came to us through a real-life “dump and drive” situation after being abandoned at a closed, overcrowded animal control facility. They arrived covered in fleas, flea dirt, a treatable skin condition that we treated and intestinal worms, but with plenty of TLC, they have blossomed into beautiful, happy puppies ready for loving homes.
