Meet Dove, the devoted mom who decided April Fools’ Day was perfect for welcoming her little pranksters! After lovingly raising her little nuggets of joy and helping them prepare for their forever homes, it’s finally Dove’s turn to find her perfect family.
Like the decadently sweet chocolate she’s named for, Dove melts into a happy puddle at your feet with a little warmth, affection, and gentle touch. Her favorite pastime is snuggling close to her person for pets and belly rubs. She’s currently a low-to-moderate energy girl (about a 3), but there’s a playful puppy spirit beginning to emerge. Having spent her young life mothering, she’s just discovering the joy of being a dog herself—she’s starting to enjoy toys, will chase a ball once or twice, and shows signs she’d love a playful canine buddy or two.
Now that Dove’s mothering days are behind her, she is ready for the carefree life she deserves! She is now spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. She walks wonderfully on a leash, is potty trained, and sleeps in a crate when needed, though she is trustworthy enough to be loose in the home. Dove is a great traveler! She happily gets in the car, rides on the back seat and sleeps while the wheels go round and round. She is dog and child friendly, but cats are an unknown.
