This handsome white Lab mix is just 1 year old, about 40 pounds, and ready for the loving future he has always deserved. Though his past wasn’t kind to him, it hasn’t touched his gentle spirit. Beneath it all is the sweetest, most tender heart — a boy who simply wants to love and be loved.
Dexter is incredibly cuddly and happiest when he’s curled up close to his person, soaking in the safety and comfort he missed before. He walks beautifully on leash without pulling, as if he’s just grateful to be by your side. Playtime with his toys brings out his joyful, puppy side, and his bright mind makes him a quick learner who truly wants to please.
Like many young dogs, he has a playful spark and will flourish with an active home that can give him exercise both mentally and physically, guidance, and structure. Once he bonds with you, it’s with his whole heart. His loyalty runs deep.
