Bailey – Black Female, 6.5 years, 67 pounds
At Labrador Retriever Rescue of Fresno, we make it our mission to find loving homes for all of the dogs in our care. Sometimes, we get a very special situation that brings tears to our eyes and hurts our hearts. A friend and former adopter of several of our dogs over the years was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Her wish was that we find her two beloved dogs, Appa and Bailey, a loving home where they could remain together. She understood the deep bond between humans and animals and it’s of utmost importance that we find the right forever home for her two special dogs.
About Appa:
* Outgoing and happy-go-lucky
* Loves to play fetch and snuggle
* Looks out for his partner Bailey
* Enjoys car rides and is house trained
About Bailey:
* Shy but sweet, warming up with a little time
* Loves swimming and will launch herself into the pool with joy
* Looks to Appa for guidance and companionship
* Also enjoys car rides and is house trained
Both dogs have lived harmoniously with children, other dogs, and even cats. They’re spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. Their foster mom believes keeping them together is crucial for their well-being, allowing their resilient spirit to shine through. We made a promise to her, and to them, a commitment we will honor.
