Thank you for submitting an adoption application with Labrador Retriever Rescue of Fresno. We are a 100% volunteer based rescue. We do not have a facility. All dogs are placed in foster homes until adopted. Most of our foster volunteers have full time jobs and families to care for, as well as volunteer their time. Please be patient, we will get back to you as soon as possible.
HOW IT WORKS – your application has been received and it is your link to finding your new best friend.
- Only ONE application is needed. All dogs are in different private foster homes. If you have indicated a particular dog(s) on your application, you will receive a response from a volunteer and it will be forwarded to the appropriate foster family for follow up. Please SAVE this initial response email from the volunteer – it will have your completed application included and will be needed should the dog you are interested in already be adopted. Allow at least 48 hours for a foster volunteer to respond to your inquiry.
- If you have not indicated a particular dog, you will receive a response from a volunteer. Please SAVE this initial response email from the volunteer – it will have your completed application included and can easily be forwarded. You must follow us by watching our website and/or Facebook page. Finding your new dog is a collaborative effort. Please be patient and one of our volunteers will email you with further instructions.
- PLEASE NOTE: Dogs are NOT adopted out on a first come, first served basis but what the foster feels is in the best interest of the dog in their care. Please do NOT comment on Facebook that you want your application forwarded, as admins on the page are not necessarily fosters for the dog and it will likely be missed. Thank you.
